Quantum Corp. and NCS have signed a deal to their partnership beyond Singapore to serve customers across the Asia-Pacific region.
The partnership will see NCS become Quantum’s first top-tier channel partner for the region, with the former incorporating Quantum’s line of data protection and big data management products into its offerings.
As part of the agreement, Quantum will develop a Centre of Excellence (COE) in NCS Singapore, providing training and necessary skill sets to enable NCS to support the regional business. The COE will make it easier for NCS to support both local customers intending to expand overseas and regional customers seeking relevant support.
In addition to Singapore, the expanded Quantum-NCS partnership will initially cover the Greater China, Australia and ASEAN markets, with other markets to follow over time.
“NCS has been working with Quantum for many years in Singapore. With this, we can now bring forth our synergy to markets where NCS has touchpoints. The aggressive growth of data will bring challenges as well as opportunities to our customers both locally and overseas, in terms of managing data and deriving insights to make better business decisions,” said Vincent Lim, Vice President, NCS.
