Storage Academy makes a comeback this February

The SNIA (Storage Networking Industry Association) of South Asia has announced the return of its Storage Academy in the second half of February. Running this year under the theme of 'The Changing Face of the Data Center'' the event has expanded to one and a half days and will run on February 24 - 25 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore.
The SNIA South Asia Storage Academy is free to attend for IT end-users and resellers and is applicable for all organizations. The agenda is filled with a combination of vendor independent SNIA tutorials on the current hot topics in the field of data storage, data management, cloud services, virtualization and infrastructure developments. Also included are keynote addresses from leading industry commentators, analysts and selected vendors.
Keynote speakers on the afternoon of Thursday February 25 include Simone Brunozzi, web services technology evangelist from AMAZON, Simon Piff, practice director, infrastructure research group, IDC Asia Pacific and David Dale, vice-chairman, SNIA.
Supporting SNIA South Asia in bringing the 2010 Academy to Singapore is the Data Storage Institute along with several leading IT vendors including Cisco, Dell, EMC, FalconStor, Hitachi Data Systems, HP, IBM, NetApp and Symantec.
