The Singapore Parliament has implemented an automated Content Management and Delivery system from NIIT Technologies. The recording system enables the recording and archiving of parliament proceedings.

The recording system brings features at a touch of a button such as fast batch pagination with manual control to help staff produce content content under tight timelines. The system has been dubbed Singapore Parliament reporting system/.

Project manager for the deployment Gunalan Kamalanathan, said staff using the system include those from the Official Reports or Hansard departments. According to Kamalanathan, staff used to spend long hours transcribing and recording every word spoken in the parliament chamber.

"With the new system, the transcription and reporting process is speedier and more accurate, altogether less painful," said Kamalanathan.
